Colin Pinnavaia, One Who Carries

This Brother was elected to the Order of the Arrow
in 1997, and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 1998.
He is an Eagle Scout, and Silver Heron recipient. He served the
Lodge as Chairman of the Brotherhood Committee and Shows Committee
for two terms. Through his stellar leadership, Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge
ran the Theme Show for the 1998 Brooklyn-Staten Island Jamboree
which received stellar praise. Currently, he is the Lodge Operational
Vice Chief, Associate Lodge Webmaster and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster

This Brother was elected to the Order of the Arrow in 1996, and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 1998. He is an Eagle Scout, and Silver Heron recipient. The 1998-1999 Lodge Chief, this Brother has also served as Shawondasse Chapter Chief, and Activities & Service Chairman - a post which he currently continues to hold. He is also very active on the Ceremonies Team, and is a principal character in both the Ordeal and Brotherhood ceremonies. He is an Assistant Scoutmaster in his home troop, and continues to be active in the Scouting program and the Order of the Arrow. two terms as the Chairman of the Publications Committee, and currently
serves as Lodge Secretary-Treasurer, Memorabilia Chairman and
Associate Webmaster. He serves his troop in the position of Junior
Assistant Scoutmaster, and is a consistent example of unselfish
service freely given. One of his recommendations read: "Although
often the subtle voice in the background, his consistent contributions

He is an Eagle Scout, and Silver Heron Award recipient. He twice
successfully chaired the Lodge Ordeal Committee, served one term
as the Lodge Secretary/Treasurer and is the current Chief of Phoenix
Chapter. He is highly committed to to the success of the Order
of the Arrow in Brooklyn, and his District in particular. Others
identify him as a dedicated and faithful young man. One of his

This Brother was elected to the Order of the Arrow
in 1997, and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 1998.
He is an Eagle Scout, and Silver Heron recipient. He has served
two terms as the Chairman of the Unit Service Committee, and is
the current chairman of the 2000 Section NE-3A Conclave. In 1999,
he held the office of Lodge Operational Vice Chief, and is presently
a member of the Lodge Web Development Team. As the Assistant Senior
Patrol Leader of his home troop, he continues to actively serve
Scouting on a daily basis. One of his recommendations read: "It
is no exaggeration to say that Ian P. is one of the pillars of
Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge today; and the epitome of the Vigil Honor Recipient."

This Brother was elected into the Order of the Arrow as a youth in 1978, and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 1997 with Aquehongian Lodge #112. He is an Eagle Scout and has served in the Professional ranks of the Greater New York Councils in many capacities. Most recently he has served as Scout Executive of the Brooklyn and Staten Island Councils; as such, he is the Supreme Chief of the Fire of both Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge #24 and Aquehongian Lodge #112. Mike has long been an active promoter of Scouting in general, and the Order of the Arrow in particular. One of his recommendations read: "Growing up with the program makes Mike a diligent supporter for today's youth in Brooklyn." For exceptional service to the Lodge, Council and Scouting in general, the Vigil Honor is hereby bestowed upon Brother Michael Mahon. This Brother was inducted into Ranachqua Lodge #4 in 1978 and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 1980. He served his lodge of induction as both its Chief and Lodge Adviser. He has served his home unit as Assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster and most recently as a Troop Committee member. He currently is the Greater NY Councils Assistant Director of Camping, and serves as the camp director of Camp Aquehonga in Ten Mile River. He is an Eagle Scout, and recipient of the Silver Heron, Silver Beaver, and many other Scouting awards. He is the Council Training Chairman and has served with distinction as the Council Camping Chairman and on summer camp staff. He served as his Troop Scoutmaster and is currently on the Troop Committee. He is also active in the Sea Exploring program. This Brother has been an active promoter of the Order of the Arrow in his Chapter for many years; most recently in Phoenix, and the former Wambuli. Currently, he serves as the Phoenix Chapter Financial Adviser, and is the Vice-Chairman of Program for the Lenape Bay District. His pleasant demeanor and gentle support make him a backbone of the Order of the Arrow in his District.
