Alex Mogavero, Eager Trailblazer

    This brother was inducted into the Order of the Arrow in 2000 and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 2001. A Silver Heron recipient, this brother has eagerly given service to the Unit Service and Ceremonies Committees. His most poignant service has come during his terms as Chief of Phoenix Chapter and as the Chief of Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge. As one brother noted in his recommendation, "This brother is one of the first to take the helm when work needs to be done and can be relied upon to always go above and beyond the call of duty." For his unselfish service to Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge, the Vigil Honor is hereby bestowed upon Alex Mogavero. The Indian name given is Lilchpin Wikheu Kschatteechen, which is interpreted as Eager Trailblazer.


Robert Conlon, Humble One Who Leads

    This Brother was elected to the Order of the Arrow in 1997, and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 1998. As an adviser he has continually been an asset to his Troop, Chapter and Lodge. His most noteworthy service has come through his dedication to the Elangomat and Unit Service Committees and to Phoenix Chapter as their Adviser. As one recommendations read "His enthusiasm for our order has influenced many of our youth to become and stay involved in the Chapter and Lodge." For service to Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge and Phoenix Chapter, the Vigil Honor is presented to Robert Conlon. The Indian name given is Gettemagelensit Takachsin, which is interpreted as Humble One Who Leads.
