The brothers of Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge played a major role in the planning and fundraising for, as well as the construction of the Shawn E. Bowman, Jr. Amphitheater.

The project was completed between April and July of 2002, and was dedicated on July 20, 2002. It was such a tremendous success and accomplishment, that it was picked up by both Scouting Magazine and the Order of the Arrow National Bulletin.
