Sean R., Lodge Chief

Sean is an Brotherhood Member and Eagle Scout from Troop 510, Flatbush. Sean was inducted into our order in 2005 and served as Lodge Secretary in 2006-2007 and Executive Vice Chief in 2007-2008. He has used his stage crew and lighting design experience to give leadership to the Shows committee since 2006. For his service to the Lodge he was awarded the Silver Heron Award in 2007. He is a proud member of the Ten Mile River Staff at Camp Aquehonga where he as worked on the aquatics staff. Sean is a high school senior. His interests include swimming, hockey, and camping.




Tom K., Executive Vice Chief

Tom is a Brotherhood Member and Life Scout from Troop 23, Bay Ridge. Tom has served as the Winter Banquet and Nimat Chairman and has been active on the Shows and Unit Service committees. Tom also attended the 2006 National OA Conference at Michigan State University and served on the Shows Staff at the 2009 NOAC at Indiana University. He is a college freshman who's interests include photography, making videos, video games, and anime.




John S., Operational Vice Chief

John is a Brotherhood Member and Life Scout from Troop 715, Bay Ridge. Since his election in 2007, John has served as chairman of the Elangomat and Activities and Service Committees. For his service to the lodge he was presented the Silver Heron Award in 2009. He represented the lodge at the 2009 National OA Conference at Indiana University. Outside of Scouting, this high school sophomore spends his time learning about history and the military.




Joey G., Secretary/Treasurer

Joey is a Brotherhood Member and Eagle Scout from Troop 22, Park Slope. Joey was elected to the order in 2003 and sealed his membership in the Brotherhood in 2004. Since his induction he has served as a member of the Elangomat and Ceremonies Committees. During the summer Joey serves as a member of the Ten Mile River Staff at Camp Aquehonga. He is a Sophomore at Concordia College whose interests include baseball, hiking, and NCAA Tennis.

Colin is a Vigil Honor Member, Founders' Award Recipient, Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 237, Windsor Terrace. He served our Order as a youth in many capacities highlighted by a term as Lodge Chief and as Section Chief. He is a National Camping School Instructor (Scoutcraft), a veteran camp staff member and serves as an Executive Board member of the Friends of Ten Mile River. Colin is a teacher at St. Edmund Preparatory School, where he teaches Computer Science

Dave is a Vigil Honor Member, Founders' Award Recipient, Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 350. Previously serving for three years as Lodge Adviser of Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge, Dave brings a wealth of knowledge about the operations of Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge and the Order of the Arrow. For many years, Dave has also staffed the National OA Conference as a member of the American Indian Affairs Committee.

Anthony is a Vigil Honor Member, Founders' Award Recipient, Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster of Troop 237, Windsor Terrace. He is a National Camping School Instructor (Program Commissioner) and a veteran camp staff member. He also serves this year as the adviser to the Shows Committee. Anthony is a teacher at St. Edmund Preparatory High School .

Anthony is a Vigil Honor Member, Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster of Troop 510, Flatbush. Previously serving as Chapter Adviser, Unit Service Adviser, and Activites & Service Adviser, Anthony brings great excitement and dedication to his position in the Lodge. Anthony is a school Psychologist in the Department of Education.




Mark Amatrucola, Financial Adviser

Mark is a Vigil Honor Member, Founders' Award Recipient, Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 237, Windsor Terrace. He is a National Camping School Instructor (Project COPE) and a veteran camp staff member. This year, Mark serves as a Lodge Webmaster. Mark is a teacher at St. Edmund Preparatory School, and a partner in a Website Design & Hosting firm.





Dave Swartz, Staff Adviser

Dave is the Brooklyn Field Director for the Greater New York Councils.. Dave has a long history of supporting the camping program in New York City, having served many summers on the staff at Camp Aquehonga of the Ten Mile River Scout Camps. He serves as Staff Adviser of Shu-Shu-Gah Lodge, supporting the Lodge with resources and information from our Council.
